Quantitative demonstration of 5 safety goals. Methods used:

  •     International project team with daily telephone conferences.
  •     Lead in engineering judgment for missing/poor data source situations
  •     Understand electrical schematics

FMEA and FMES
according to Airbus Format
Piece part FMEA. Methods used:
Characteristics:
  •     Moderation of a interdepartmental FMEA at customer site (10 participants)
  •     Review and acceptance by Airbus
Project duration ca. 1 week
Quantitative Safety Analyses
for high-safety related systems
according to an international standard

Quantitative demonstration of several safety goals. Methods used:

Characteristics:

  •    Returning customer
  •    Fault tolerant system
  •    Develop general strategy in order to tackle missing/poor data source situations with minimum effort
  •    Continuous coordination with 3rd party appraiser

Project duration ca. 1 to 4 weeks


FMEA and FMES
according to Airbus Format

Piece part FMEAs on subysystem level. Methods used:

  •     MTBF estimation by engineering judgment
  •     FMEA
